Some Fun Ways To Work Out (Out Doors) by Richard
While there are many, MANY different types of work outs that you can do in the gym, using weights and machines, tread mills, and more, there are also many good ways that you can get a great work out that involve being out doors. And best of all, most of these work outs are far more fun than anything that you do in doors!
Looking to build some massive upper body strength? Consider rock climbing or swimming. These both use mainly upper body strength, and will get you in excellent shaped in no time at all. But be warned, it does involve a lot of work, hence the term “work out”. Also, another great thing that you can do is go hiking. But we aren’t talking normal old hiking through the woods, we are talking about MOUNTAIN hiking, which generally means climbing steep hills and banks. This is pretty much a great work out for your whole entire body, especially your legs.
Mountain biking is also loads of fun, and better yet, is an excellent work out for anyone. You don’t have to start out with the steepest of hills to get great results, either. Basically just be more concerned about keeping a steady pace than anything else, at least for the first few weeks. After a few weeks, you can then push yourself a bit further, looking for steeper hills to climb, while still following the general rule of thumb, which is keeping a steady pace.
Any sport that involves a lot of constant running is a great way to get in shape fast. However, some of the more fun outdoor sports that come to mine (at least for someone like me), are things like Paintball And Airsoft, which involve running around shooting at other players, and being shot at yourself. Needless to say both of these sports involve running around pretty much the WHOLE entire time, which is certainly a great cardio work out for sure.
But what do you do for an outdoor work out in the winter? Easy, go snow shoeing! While you may not like the cold, I guarantee that after about 5 minutes of walking through deep snow with big snow shoes attached to your feet, you will probably be wishing that you dressed LIGHTER. Most people may not realize it, but snow shoeing is an AMAZING cardio work out, and can easily build some killer leg muscles once you start climbing the larger hills.
Basically you can’t go wrong with ANY of the work outs talked about above. And there are plenty more good works out that you can do outside too. The sky is pretty much the limit.
